Manhã Chuvosa/”Roubo de Sexo” - Rainy Morning/”Theft of Sex” (17/365 – 2011)

O dia começou com muita chuva.  Estava ainda bastante escuro às nove da manhã.  Mas chuva na África não é nada que mereça tantas postagens.  Talvez o telefonema que Gunther recebeu à noite seja algo mais interessante.  Um dos funcionários da empresa justificou o fato de não ir ao trabalho àquela noite pois estava indo à polícia – alguém havia roubado o seu “sexo"!
Há algum tempo circulou por aqui essa estória. Segundo minha assistente doméstica, três camaroneses haviam sido presos e queimados (vivos!) devido a sucessivas acusações de roubo de sexo.  Necessário apenas apertar a mão de alguém e PUF,  desapareceu!  Eu tenho um imensa curiosidade para esses coisas, não que esteja pronta para correr o risco, mas adoraria constatar essa estória.  Quem sabe uma foto…



The day began with heavy rain. It was still quite dark at nine in the morning. But rain in Africa is nothing that deserves so many posts. Perhaps the phonecall that Gunther received last evening is something more interesting. One of the employees from the night shift had an explanation for not coming to work that night: he was going to the police - someone had stolen his "sex"!
Last year I heard something about this story here. According to my domestic assistant, three Cameroonians were arrested and burned (alive!) due to repeated accusations of theft of sex. Needed only to shake hands with someone and PUF!, the sex is gone! I have an immense curiosity for these things, not that I’m ready to take the risk, but would love to see what really heapens.
