Finalmente! Finally! (54/365 – 2011)

 

A noite passada foi com muita chuva e vento forte.  O telhado de palha que temos no jardim, que já estava destruído, acabou-se.  Por sorte, depois de muitos meses de espera, a administradora do prédio mandou trocar a palha hoje.  Precisamos inagurar!

 

Last night it was heavy rain and very strong wind. The thatched roof in our garden, which was already destroyed, it's over. Luckily, after many months of waiting, the manager of the building sent somebody to replace the straw today. We need to inaugurate!

Port Gentil (53/365 – 2011)

Port Gentil é a segunda maior cidade do Gabão e um porto principal. É o centro de petróleo do Gabão e indústrias da madeira.  Hoje pela manhã, eu e a Florence (minha companheira de exposições) decidimos explorar um novo mercado.  Não fiquei muito impressionada com a cidade, mas acho que é um mercado que pode ser bem rentável.



Port Gentil is the second-largest city of Gabon and a leading seaport. It is the center of Gabon's petroleum and timber industries.  This morning, me and Florence (my exhibition’s partner) decided to explore a new market. I wasn’t so impressed with the city, but I think it has a market that can be very profitable.

Acordar Cedo - Wake up Early (49/365 – 2011)

Issó é o que dá acordar tão cedo.  Mas o pior é que nem era tão cedo assim.  Mas aqui às seis horas da manhã ainda está escuro.

 

That's what gives wake up so early. But worse was that not so so early. But here at six o'clock in the morning it is still dark.

Vida Difícil – Difficult Life (48/365 – 2011)

Segundo e último dia na Baia das Tartarugas.  Foram dois dias muito agradáveis.  Os chalés são muito confortáveis, a comida é excelente e o serviço muito bom.  Ter tudo isso combinado aqui no Gabão não é tão fácil.  Acho que tudo isso inspirou o grande pescador, pois hoje ele conseguiu pescar um bonito atum.  Além disso, assistimos ao exercício de paraquedistas militares (acredito franceses). 



The second and last day at Turtles Bay. These two days were very pleasant. The bungalows are very comfortable, the food is excellent and very friendly service. Having all combined here in Gabon is not so easy. I think all this inspired the great fisherman, because today he managed to catch a nice tuna. Also, we watched the military exercise of paratroopers (I believe French).

Baie des Tortues (47/365 – 2011)

Hoje partimos para a Baie des Tortues, para aproveitar um dos dois dias de férias de Gunther, restantes de 2010.  A escolha de ir no meio da semana foi perfeita.  Nenhum outro cachorro, poucas pessoas e um dia perfeito. 
Yenna e Bouncer puderam aproveitar ao máximo de seus coletes salva-vidas. 




Today we do leave for the Baie des Tortues to take advantage of a two-days holiday of Gunther, remainder from 2010. The choice to go midweek was perfect. No other dogs, just few people and a perfect day.

Acabou… It’s over… (46/365 – 2011)

O principal alimentador da minha inspiração acabou.  Foi tão bom enquanto durou.  E confesso que não durou muito…  Agora tenho que esperar uma nova remessa.



The main feeder of my inspiration is over. It was so good while it lasted. I confess that it didn’t last long ... Now I have to wait a new shipment.

Huuum! (45/365 – 2011)

Faz alguns dias que eu postei aqui sobre um problema de saúde de Yenna.  Mas agora “seus problemas acabaram”!  Ela começa a partir de então a fazer aquaterapia.  Labradores adoram água, mas com o seu peso, ficava um pouco difícil para ela se manter por algum tempo na água.  Mas com o seu novo colete salva-vidas pode-se até escutá-la gemendo de felicidade.  Quandoo ela cansa ela simplesmente se deixa flutuar e huuuuum…



A few days ago I posted here about a health problem of Yenna. But now "her troubles are over”! She started doing aquatherapy. Labradors love water, but with her weight was a little difficult to stay awhile in the water. But with her new lifejacket can we almost hear her moaning of happiness. When she wants to rest she simply leaves float and huuuuum ...
